Hong Kong House is a locally owned and operated restaurant serving the Nanaimo area. Recipes are freshly prepared, cooked in 100% vegetable oil, with no MSG or added preservatives.

11:30 AM to 9:30 PM. Enjoy Szechuan, Cantonese and Shanghai-style favourites in the restaurant.

Delivery
Delivery is available up to 15 km (conditions apply). Additional delivery charges apply beyond a 5 km radius. Minimum order of $50.

Outdoor dining
The current site includes an outdoor dining page with photos of a lighted patio tent setup. Availability can change seasonally — please confirm with the restaurant before visiting specifically for outdoor seating.
Chinese buffet open 7 days a week
Focused on serving high-quality food, Hong Kong House offers a sumptuous buffet available seven days a week. The restaurant states it does not use imported frozen food or MSG, and uses local ingredients for homemade dishes made fresh every day.

As listed on the current menu page, dinner buffet selections can include:

- Chef’s choice (Shanghai noodle, Singapore noodle, or other chef choice)

- Garlic prawns; prawns with green bean; BBQ pork
- Spicy squid (Mon–Thurs); mussels with black bean sauce (Fri–Sun)
- Deep fried chicken wings; mushroom egg foo young; fish and tofu
- Sweet and sour pork; ginger pork; veg chop suey; mushroom with zucchini
- Grilled pork dumpling; deep fried wonton; crispy sesame rice ball
- And more — including a salad bar with ice cream and desserts

Beer for delivery / pick-up
Beer is listed on the take-out menu. Packaged beer is sold only to patrons age 19+ in British Columbia, with proof of age at pick-up and delivery. (The legacy site text said 18; BC legal age is 19 — confirm final wording with the owner.)
